More Features Coming to the New LinkedIn Experience


A month ago, all LinkedIn members come to know that LinkedIn have rolled out new LinkedIn desktop Interface.

It’s made LinkedIn’s user happy when they received updated Interface, but we, the user has some confusion in the interface.

The feedback which all LinkedIn user have shared to the them, helped both to bring something new out of it.

By considering feedback, LinkedIn have come up with some of the new tools which will help us to be even more productive.

They are continuing to iterate and bring new and improved features, believing that we would be getting the most out of the new redesigned experience.

Following are a few recently added updates based on LinkedIn’s members feedback, and assuring that the new tools they have faith in will help us be even more productive:

Notifications: Now user can customize the types of notifications we receive based on what we find the most valuable - for example birthdays, work anniversaries, job changes and more.

Photo Filters: LinkedIn have introduced an easy way to crop and enhance the profile picture.

Trending Storylines in users’ profile LinkedIn Feed: With daily curated interest-based feeds user can quickly discover the most important developing stories in users preferred industry. Check it out on your mobile home screen under the Trending tab, or on desktop, it’s at the top right of the homepage.

Search fields: LinkedIn have added back search tools to help user more easily find the information user in need, including Saved Searches, Boolean and text field search (such as first name, last name, company and school).

Profile Completion Meter: now user can discover what they need to do to strengthen users profile, and attract more opportunity.

Manage Comments: they have added the ability for LinkedIn's’ members to directly manage the comments we have on our long form articles, with the option to disable or enable comments.

Assuring that More features are on the way:

Assuring that still they are not done and more planning to bring back some features that they heard we missed and they will continue to add new tools to help user make the most of what LinkedIn should offer, including:

Top vs. recent in the Feed: Giving us more choice over the way we consume content and stay informed with the ability to toggle between top and recent.

Expandable profiles: members be able to more easily view details of a member’s profile, including information on past and present positions, Groups joined, and recommendations.

Publishing: They are going to make it easier for us to publish, and they plan to add even more insight into who shares and comments on our/user article, so we can understand if we are engaging with the right audience.
